Five years on, a lot to be proud of!

Summer is here and I couldn’t be more excited. Days are longer, temperatures have warmed up, patios are crowded and it seems like everyone has a smile on their faces.
This issue of Whatever Magazine marks our 5-year anniversary. It’s incredible how much has changed since we launched this publication in the summer of 2005. The magazine started as a community digest to help Vaughan residents learn a little about local people and businesses.
Today, Whatever is a full-sized lifestyle magazine that has developed a readership throughout Vaughan and beyond. I am truly appreciative of our staff, our advertisers and of course all of our readers for helping to make us Vaughan’s leading publication, a fact reflected in the magazine winning the Top Choice award for the last two years.
This Summer 2010 issue has a great cover story about CityLine’s Tracy Moore, profiling her journey to become the host of one of Canada’s most popular lifestyle TV shows. We also have lots of helpful articles about a variety of topics including how the new HST will affect your budget and advice regarding keeping marriages fresh and strong.
Finally, the 2010 World Cup is under way. I know it will deliver many exciting moments and highlights as always. I wish good luck to the teams from the 32 countries taking part.
From all of us at Whatever Publishing, have a fun, safe and healthy summer.
